Swollen Monkey Entertainment has landed and is set to shake the Villa Nightclub in Perth to the very foundations it was built. The 2nd of October will see Villa host an event which is said to become one of Perth`s premier Hip Hop nights. KillaQueenz from Sydney are headlining the exclusive event with DJ sets from K-Note(syd), Dj Owe(bris) and live music from Perth`s very own Hunter & Wolverine and of course who can forget the high energy and unrivalled dedication to entertaining a crowd of the KillaQueenz. All while MC Fortafy(bris) keeps the crowd rocking to the early hours of the morning.

KILLAQUEENZ
KillaQueenz are one of the most promising Hip Hop acts coming out of Australia right now. They are renowned for their high energy shows and unrivalled dedication to the art. Hailing from Uganda and Belize, Kween G and Belizean Bombshell draw inspiration from their respective homelands to bring a fresh sound to the Australian Hip Hop scene.
The girls first met at the 2000 Olympic Games where they were individually performing and through a passion of Hip Hop music KillaQueenz was formed. Since their formation KQ have performed across the country and supported the likes of Public Enemy, South Rakkas Crew, Lady Gaga, Shapeshifter, Tha Alkaholiks, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Lucky Dube and many more.
Their live performance consists of rhymes, beat boxing, dancing and the raw energy that only KQ can deliver. The result is a show that leaves you wanting more and saw them nominated for Best Live Perfomance at the innagural SMAC Awards which was presented by FBI Radio and Time Out Magazine in late 2008.
KillaQueenz have become well known in the Australian Hip Hop scene through their heavy show schedule and via Kween Gs Friday night National Hip Hop show on Alchemy Radio. All this means they have worked up a following and a well deserved reputation for being one of the ultimate crowd party rockers.
Voted as Best Local Hip Hop Act in 3D World Magazines 2008 polls they recently released their debut album Sistarhood which saw the first single Double Up receive playlist support from JJJ along with album of the week in The Brag and on FBI Radio in Sydney.

K-NOTE
Involved in the music and arts scene for over 17 years, K-Note is an accomplished DJ / Producer who has been travelling the globe spreading his passion for music. His DJ skills have taken him through Toronto, New York, Jamaica, South East Asia and now Australia playing everything from Reggae, R&B, Hip Hop, Baltimore/Electro and Dancehall.
K-Note has toured and supported artists such as David Guetta, Kid Cudi, Busta Rhymes, Lady Gaga, The Killers, LL Cool J, Lil Kim, De La Soul, Black Eyed Peas, Gym Class Heroes, Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx, The Roots, Sean Paul plus many more.
Along with DJing in clubs across Australia K-Note is also the official DJ for Sydneys hottest Hip Hop act KillaQueenz which has seen him perform in New Zealand along with touring Australia nationally on the 2010 Good Vibrations Festival.
K-Note was the 1st Urban DJ to be featured on the front cover of 3D World Magazine for his Dutty Bass Vol.1 and Vol.2 Mix CDs and was the 1st DJ in Australia to release an official Reggae CD through a major label.
